Ariana and Chris are one of our all time favorite couples. They are so sweet and super easy to work with. Coordinating their Greek wedding and creating their floral decor was an honor. The church was simply breathtaking, but that’s not the reason it was chosen for the ceremony. Ariana’s own parents exchanged vows there many years ago.
Thanks to Jillian Jay for the stunning photographs. She made an already beautiful couple even more gorgeous through her work!

Welcome to Details by Design Event’s First Wedding Weekend of the Season! Needless to say, it was a VERY busy weekend.
We were honored to have been chosen by Brenda and her family to create the floral decor for her wedding. Brenda had a very particular vision when it came to her flowers. She wanted her arrangements to be bright and bold. Fuchsia roses, sweet peas, lilies and other seasonal flowers were complimented with other light pink blooms. For a complete color contrast, Brenda chose mango calla lilies to accent her arrangements.
Her vision came to reality and we were so happy that Brenda and her family and friends loved our creations. It makes all the hard work completely worth it when the end result is a happy bride!

On February 17, 2009, we celebrated the life of Ava Madison Cruz who passed away one year ago-just shy of her 2nd Birthday. Family and close friends gathered to remember the beautiful and intelligent little girl who everyone just adored. Rest in peace, Ava. We love you!

Details by Design Events was invited to participate in a bridal event at the Williams Sonoma Store in San Francisco. Wedding author, Anna Post, recently released her new wedding etiquette book, ”Do I Have to Wear White.” Anna made a special appearance at the store and offered advice and tips to brides about their upcoming wedding celebrations.

We were really excited to create cream, lavender and pink floral decor for her Mom. It was a wonderful way to celebrate such a monumental Birthday!

Ceremony and Reception: Leal Vineyards, Hollister

I would like to start by saying that even though this is one of the farthest we have gone for a wedding, it may be one of the nicest wedding venues I have been to. The gazebo and huge tent are surrounded by the vineyards, but there is also a small lake and waterfalls that serve as a beautiful backdrop. Mokang and Gabriel were fortunate enough to rent a house only steps from the venue where they could get ready in and spend time with their family.
On top of all that good stuff, Mokang is a bride that is very bold and daring in her taste of linens, centerpieces and other decor. But I have to say, it completely paid off. We’ve done many weddings and this one was completely unique. Green apple linens with mahogany chivari chairs. Our centerpieces included green apples, key limes and lime slices. This wedding was beautiful from every last detail…

Details by Design Events provided floral decor for Jenny and Rich’s wedding back in August of 2007. We were thrilled when they asked us to decorate for their baby shower. Pink and brown were the colors of the day and we incorporated that into the flowers and the sweet shop which was a feast for the eyes as well as your taste buds! This was a great treat for all the guests.
For the past few months, we have been working on putting together a new website for our customers to view. After a lot of hard work and contributions by several professional photographers here in the Bay Area, we are happy to announce that the new www.detailsbydesignevents.com is finally up and running.
